A Park City Birthday!

My lovely roommate Aubrey is celebrating her birthday this weekend! We decided to spend the day in Park City! We at the Eating Establishment, walked Main Street, visited the Olympic Park, and made a quick stop at the GAP.

I wasn't great at taking pictures until the Olympic Park stuff...SUPER COOL place though :)
Birthday Girl!
Pretty sure we don't have what it takes to be a bobsled team...but we can dream!
My favorite part was watching the skiers practice their jumps into this giant pool. I was super impressed by them. I would never be that brave.

They bubble up the pool where they are going to land, I assume to cushion the landing, but who knows. It still looks like it would hurt to me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUBREY!

Vegas and a Double Baby Shower

After all of my California fun I flew to Vegas to be with the wonderful Wixom family! Collette and Natalie are both pregnant and were having a double baby shower for their little boys! I was super excited that I could fit in the trip. A party at the Wixom house is always a great time!
Co and I trying to be serious to take a picture....
Yeah we aren't super good at that!

After the busy/fun day Heidi took us all out to an outdoor play! It was so cool! I joked about how I could not live in Vegas because nothing there is green! Heidi found me green and I really did love it!

After stuffing Layne in the trunk with a million pillows, blankets and a cooler we headed out for the evening...just the girls! Poor Micah and Layne then had to carry the cooler because the man wouldn't let us go on the actual road. Worth it though because we had an amazing feast!
Collette's family is awesome! I love all of them! Aunt Julie, Gina, and Jill came too! Amanda and I were super lucky to get to spend time with such fun people!
The play was really cool. We just sprawled out on the grass and enjoyed the weather. It was actually cooler up there so I didn't want to die being outside (probably the first time I have ever said that about Vegas). Other than the smokers it was a lovely night!
After a fun weekend together it was time to head back to Utah. I'm so blessed to have met Collette in college and now to have so many "sisters" added to the mix. I love all of my visits with them. They always make me feel like part of the family. Thanks Wixom Family for everything!

Home is Where My Heart Is!

I love going home! After Disneyland it was nice just to go back to Petaluma and get some home time in. I grew up in such a wonderful place. I just love our small town and the feeling I get when I drive down the familiar streets. Extra bonus...these kids live 5 minutes from my parents! (Can't wait until Kyle had his family live close again too!)

After a yummy BBQ by Ryan, I decided a hose fight where I was holding the hose would be a great idea! Perks of being an Auntie!
Another night we did smores! Although they don't look like they are having fun, they are! I just think this picture is too funny. Camden has a sweet tooth like his Mom and would have kept going had Daddy not cut him off!
This little monkey just gets prettier and prettier every day! I just love her!
We officially got to celebrate Camden's 5th Birthday! I'm not sure when Mr. Poopie Pants decided to grow up, but he sure has. He wanted an Avengers cake (Cami was doing a big one for his birthday party on Saturday). Grandma wasn't really wanting to do an Avengers cakes, so she made a cake with sprinkles from all the different colors of the characters. She also tried a new cream cheese frosting recipe that will make you LOVE life. I don't like cake, but I ate half of this cake! Isn't he the cutest kid? I just love him so very much!

My Dad and I like to pretend like we can golf. He has an idea what he is doing...I just like to hit things! We decided to play the little 9 hole course so I could have my first experience on a course. It was so much fun! I cleared both ponds and screamed when I did! I think I only lost 1 ball too! In the end my Dad won, but if I can get my short game a little better I might have a shot at beating him!

Not the best picture of us, but we were having a blast!
Parker was all smiles for me one night! He is a chunk, but when he really smiles you can see his dimple!
Not pictured (thank goodness) is my Mom and I doing water aerobics! This also included Zumba water aerobics! Yeah that stuff is crazy. I loved the work out though. I'm a huge fan of the water so working out in the water was a great way to start the morning.

I LOVE HOME! Petaluma will always be HOME!

Disneyland Goodness

I am one lucky girl! My sister had planned a trip to Disneyland with her in laws and then realized she was staying longer than everyone. This also meant she would have to do 2 days of Disneyland on her own with 3 children. That wasn't going to work. I got the call to swoop in and be the cool aunt who helps out. Huge win for me! I booked my ticket and had a blast with these crazy kids!

Parker's first trip to Disneyland!
Experiencing the Toy Story ride in California Adventure. It quickly became a favorite!
Tea Cups!!! Even Parker got to ride the tea cups. Haddley LOVED them. She would make a list in the morning of the rides she wanted to do.
1. Merry Go Round
2. Tea Cups
3. Caterpillar Ride
4. Winnie the Pooh

I really love this picture because Haddley is trying to scoot Camden away from the steering wheel because she wants TOTAL control of that car (that goes nowhere)! Such a funny girl.
We were lucky enough to get to see the new Cars Land opening day. We were super worried the line was going to be crazy, but it only was about an hour wait to get into the park. Once we got in the park we did all the other rides (everyone else went to Cars). We had a blast and then checked it out. It is pretty cool. They have done a great job making it look like Radiator Springs. We didn't get to ride the big ride because there was no way we were waiting in a 5 hour line! NO THANK YOU!

We were so happy to go on a Cars ride! Cami and I would take turns watching Parker. It actually made it more fun for the kids, especially Camden, because they got to do everything twice!

As you can see the kids had a blast! The drive home was pretty quiet...well except for Parker, but I forgive him!

What My Phone Sees...

I have realized that since I have my new phone I tend to snap a lot more quick pictures. These were just a few to give you an idea of what I've been up to lately..

Hammock time...this is my view nightly from my hammock.
I hiked up to Twin Lakes on Saturday...HEAVENLY!
I think Birch trees are amazing.
