Lately

My life has been busy lately! I feel like I go, go, go and still never quite get everything done. My To-Do list grows every day and I'm not sure if it will ever get any smaller.

Here is what I've been up to lately courtesy of my phone:
After 3 weeks at Southland I was DONE! I love to be organized, especially in my classroom, so having to live out of boxes was NOT okay with me.
I was so happy to pull up to this place!
Some of the girls in my new ward work at Stampin' Up. They had us over to carve our very own stamp sets. I loved it! I was a little nervous because I'm not very crafty, but I was happy with how they turned out.
Every morning I wake up to these views.
I got my first letters in the mail that weren't bills! Whoot Whoot!
Camden and Haddley drew me pictures!
I finally got grass and now it looks like a real house and not just a construction zone!
 I've had a few visitors....
I made Colton take this picture. We sent it to his brother who hasn't come to see the house yet.
 Ashley got married!
Bobby took me to an RSL game!
Perfect weather, awesome game, great guy!
 Worm Week
No, they didn't eat their worms.
Yes, I did!

It's been a busy, but good last couple of weeks. Hopefully I get a few more projects done, become a little more settle in my house and in my classroom, and have some more fun!

Doesn't get any better...

I'm a proud Auntie! I show off my kiddos' art work and pictures. I brag about their sporting activities. I LOVE my babies!

Yesterday was an exciting day in California! Haddley and Jayden started Kinder Prep. To make things even better they are in the SAME class! How great is that! These two are probably the cutest kids in the class and most likely the funniest, smartest, nicest as well.

Kind of makes me wish I taught Kinder Prep in California! Look at those smiles! I love how they are clapping and smiling together. I hope they become the best of friends this year!

What the????

I realize that I am getting older, but it comes as a complete shock to me that so are my "babies"! Somehow they are growing up, getting smarter, funnier, more athletic, and cuter!
Kassidy: 7- Starting 2nd grade!
 Camden: 6- Starting 1st Grade
I wish I could have been there to walk them to class or in Kassidy's case to be her teacher! Maybe someday we will all live in the same town!

A House in Utah

After living in Utah for 8 years I decided to make it my permanent residence (for now)! It was a major decision, but has felt like the right one the whole time. I decided to build a house and call Utah home.

I fell in love with the model home and no matter what else I saw I just could only see myself living in that house. Lucky for me I was able to make it a reality!
Home Fitting Center and model home!
My very expensive pile of dirt and street sign!
The first sign of an actual house...
Suddenly it really became a house!
Windows started to make it feel real...
Kim Painter took this for me while I was on vacation!
By the time I got back to Utah they had almost finished!
 The Kitchen finally got done!
(Easily my favorite room of the house!)
I signed the papers on August 8th and got the keys August 9th!
 It's becoming a home!
She is all mine and I love her!
A huge thank you to everyone who has loved and supported me through this process! I was cranky, anxious, nauseous, overly excited, overly sad, etc.

Thank you to:
My awesome realtor: Matt Scott
My parents who were here for buying day and signing day!
Ryan, my awesome brother in law who sat by the mailbox to deposit my check!
Cami, Camden, Haddley, and Parker for being excited for me, but still wishing I lived in Cali!
Kyle, Jordan, Kassidy, and Jayden for helping me move!
Amanda and her Dad for helping me move and bringing rope!
The Painter's for letting me borrow their truck!

I'm so excited to really start working on the house! I can't wait to paint, decorate, etc. Luckily I go off track in September so I'll have a little time to get it all done!

UNC

Kyle graduated from UNC! He is officially a physical therapist! The kid is a stud! I flew out to North Carolina for the weekend to help celebrate and get them packed up and headed to California!

I got in late Thursday night and crashed with my parents at the hotel. Early Friday morning we were up and packing up the house. They had already gotten a lot done and now we were just trying to get it all into the moving truck.
After many hours of sweating and lifting boxes we finally got it all to fit! That's me...melting in the back of the truck.

It was also Kassidy's birthday that day! She is 7! I'm not sure when that happened, but she is growing up quick!
That night we had Kyle's graduation! The main event!
We got there early for good seats so we had a lot of time to just hang out!
 Proud of this guy!
 It's official!
 Proud Parents
 Proud Sisters
 The family
(minus Ryan)

It was a busy day, but a great day! Saturday we had more packing,  T-ball, BBQ, swimming, and shopping!
Kyle coached both teams! These two did so good!
 Beautiful North Carolina Trees!

Sunday morning it was time to say goodbye. Always hard to leave the family, especially now that they all will be in California while I'm in Utah, but I look forward to visiting as always!
JD melts my heart! He is such a sweetheart and goof ball!
Love these kids!

It was a short trip, but a good trip!
I'm so proud of Kyle for working so hard and being such a great husband and father!
